[Architecture] Support for HTTP (not SSL) for GS

I think its a *blocker* on the GS that we cannot expose gadgets on
HTTP. At the moment we only support /portal on HTTPS.
Most customers use their portal servers internally. Most customers do
not get SSL certs for internal servers. Most users cannot handle an
invalid cert. All of these are significant barriers to adoption for
our Gadget Server. I just don't see many customers bothering to get an
SSL certificate unless we've already convinced them, and certainly
while its ok to get admins to add certs to their browsers, that is not
acceptable for end users.
