[Carbon-dev] What is the purpose of system property "carbon.repository"?

So far I saw using the "carbon.repository" system property in 2 context
which conflicts each other.
1. containing the parent folder for the "components" folder
(Axis2ServiceRegistry, EquinoxFrameworkLauncher)
2. containing the path to axis2 repo (AppDeployerUtils)

Which is the correct usage?
