ESB - No error prompted when trying to add/edit/delete resources on a read-only ESB instance

I have to ESB instances sharing the same configuration registry. One is in read-only mode and the other one is in read-write.

When I try to add collections from the read-only mode, it prompts an error message saying that the user is not authorized to add the collection. But when trying to add resources, it prompts a message saying that the resource was added successfully, but I do not see the resource in the registry. 

Since it does not allow me to add resources to the read-only registry, it should prompt a message saying that the operation is not permitted.
