    Resolution: Fixed

This is fixed in carbo p2 plugin in r125008. 
It works for carbon-studio features repository.
However in the carbon platform/features/repository the category metadata is not encoded into the content.xml. Got to investigate why it doesn't get picked up. The related carbon jira for this: https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON-12876
